We use a 1-3 rating system to help you select the adventure that suits you best!
1 = Easy - here to see the sights and enjoy the fresh Alaskan air without a vigourous effort.
2 = Moderate - active and adventurous without too much intensity
3 = Strenuous - some intensity to fully enjoy the rugged Alaskan landscape

Summit Tours
Mt. McGinnis Fly-in, Hike-out
Difficulty: 2, moderate to strenuous, not suitable for new hikers
Distance: 5.3 mile trek with overall loss of 4,300 ft in elevation (yes, it’s all downhill, but don’t confuse that for easy!)
Duration: 5 hours, including transportation
Highlights: Views of the Mendenhall Glacier, hike down an epic trail, enjoy one of Juneau’s most popular trails
Blackerby Ridge Fly-in, Fly-out
Difficulty: 3, strenuous, not suitable for new hikers
Distance: 3.3 mile trek with 1,900 ft of gain
Duration: 4 hours, including transportation
Highlights: Close views of multiple glaciers with exhilarating ridge climbing
Grandchild Peaks Fly-in, Fly-out
Difficulty: 3, strenuous, not suitable for new hikers (check out our custom options!)
Distance: 2 mile trek with 2,000 ft of gain
Duration: 3 hours, including vehicle transportation to and from the ships
Highlights: Close glacier views, ridge climbing, most remote
